But for me, it isn't a hard choice really. As a pharmacist, there are two main paths for me, retail or hospital. Retail pays way better, but I would hate it. Hospital is exactly what I want to do, but doesn't pay as well. However, it still pays awesome, so it wasn't a hard choice for me. I have one of my *dream* jobs (although it was only a dream job until I got it - lol! you don't know what you don't know), and I think I am paid well (I could totally support myself without any major life adjustments). The only reason I haven't pursued a lower-stress and/or lower-paying job is that I like feeling like I relieve at least some of the burden from DH's shoulders.
