I think DS is teething his 2 year moalrs right now. Came home yesterday with a low grade fever of 100. The teacher said he was fussy and lethargic. I gave him Tylenol when we got home, but he was acting normal. He woke up with no fever so I sent him to daycare. I told the teacher if he acts unwell again, I'll pick him up.

I probably would at that temp, given she was feeling fine otherwise. However, we go to a small in home daycare, and our provider is awesome about letting me know during the day how she's doing.
I did stay home with her a few weeks ago when she was really lethargic- she had croup, and was just feeling miserable. No fever, but the symptoms worried me.

@regberadaisy: The lethargy is what's making me think it could be something other than teeth :-( I might be able to have my mom watch her later this afternoon.

@winniebee: It was when she woke at 4 this morning. I gave her some Motrin but she went to a normal temp within 25 min (before it kicked in).

I'm going to see if DH can take her in late and have my mom pick her up (she gets off at 2:30)

I would keep her home if she had a true fever of 100.4 or greater regardless of their cut off. If you suspect teeth I would dose Motrin and send her.

Can anyone else watch her? I'm less concerned about the temp but more so of the lethargy. You can send her but I'm thinking there's a good change you'll be getting a call. :(

@MrsRcCar: 101.1 they take the temp under the arm and add 1 degree to it

Normally I wouldn't but I just started my job yesterday and DD2 woke at 4am with a 99.5 fever. She was clingy and a little lethargic all day yesterday. She usually runs a fever for a few days right before a new tooth comes in, but I don't see any swollen gums. No other symptoms.
I would try to have DH stay home but he has training/meetings off and on today.
