But she still sleeps in the RNP beside my bed. I'll usually rock/bounce her a bit after she eats, and then I put her down drowsy. I try to keep my eyes open until he's out again but half the time I fall asleep before he does (but he's almost out, and if he doesn't fall asleep within a minute or two he'll cry and it'll wake me back). That's about it. And if he's crying, forget about it. DD slept in our room (in a PnP) for the first seven months so if she was awake but not upset, DH and I would go back to sleep until she fussed. Now that she's 8.5 months old, she wakes up a couple of times during the night to have a play in her cot and we never get up with her. The only exception to this is if DH is up with her. If he starts to go back to sleep and she's still awake, I'll wake up. </p>
