It sucks but it helps to have a job I generally enjoy and $$ to enjoy life too. Most people in my field work similar hours. I will leave before she's up and come home after she's gone to bed. I will do most wake ups as I still intend on breastfeeding, but it will sure be hard to be away from her so long. I'm also in school though so it is only temporary, though still a long time at 2 years. There were 2-3 days each week this past semester that my son was still sleeping when I left for work/school, and in bed when I got home.<br /> Thankfully, like you, it's not permanent! It's a short term solution, and in the long run, it will work itself out. I spend extra time with him during semester breaks and while I know he misses me, I also know he is loved, and well taken care of.
