We went to a waterpark when LO was little, but DH researched it first and we decided not to let her go in the water because it's known to be dirty. We were meeting family there so we just sat outside of the water and watched them play. Sure enough, everyone came running out of the water because someone had poo'd.</p> <p>I do take her to our local pool about once a week though. But it's well taken care of so it doesn't feel dirty. The kiddy pool is always a bit warmer than the other pool but ah well. </p> <p>The worst is the sand box they have there. The kids fill it up with water and then sit in this pool/sand slushy that I'm sure they're also peeing in. I don't have a problem with them. We didn't go very often when I was a kid because my grandparents both had pools. There was one at a park called pan pacific park (near The Grove). We called it pan pacific park's public piss pool haha. We knew people peed in it but I guess we didn't care.</p> <p>We are going to a public pool tomorrow with some friends and their two kids (same age as Olive and Charlie). It's the first time I'll be going to a public pool since I was in elementary school!</p> <p>Some people are concerned about the germs/disease, but I guess I'm not that worried.</p> <p>Would you take your LO to a public pool? </p>
