I moved from Minnesota to North Carolina at 38 weeks but that wasn't by choice. And I think the car ride might be uncomfortable, but doable. So I think you could (not that I have actually BEEN 36 weeks pregnant) but it depends on your own comfort level. And, of course, if there are good hospitals near the lake. A weekend at a lake house does sound amazing. </p> <p>I'll be driving with DH to my baby shower at almost 35 weeks, 4 hours away. I'm really not looking forward to the drive, but we couldn't do it any sooner. Would you drive or fly? Flying sucked last weekend at 32w, I wouldn't want to do it at 36 for anything. I don't know how much I'd love being in a car for 6 hours, but if you are just going to a lake house to relax the entire weekend, I wouldn't think it would be that bad. If you have to do a lot of walking or sightseeing, heck no. Having to walk around Vegas at 32w suuucked, but I can imagine a relaxing weekend by a lake would be nice!
