The first woman we met was an immediate "no" because she was doing babysitting as a part time thing and she had a regular job as a photographer. The second one is as good as gold and we are using her a year later. She also came prepared, with references and a resume, but then again, this is her job. For something as important as a babysitter, I would probably want reco's from someone I know better/longer and that have known the sitter for longer. She could be amazing though so I guess you'll just have to ask her lots of questions. One of the couples recommended a baby sitter to us so we can actually go to the small group meetings.<br /> (Since DH is out of town and I don't have a sitter, we usually SKype in). </p> <p>So here're are my issues:</p> <p>1. We've known the couple for 8 weeks and they're great, but we've only known them for 8 weeks.<br /> 2. They've only known the person they recommended for a few weeks. She's sat with their DS.<br /> 3. They met the girl at Publix (she works there). </p> <p>She's coming over at 2pm tomorrow so we can talk with her and "interview" her. But eh. I'm not feeling very good about it. </p>
