I used mostly CD and EBFed (no bottles), so the pockets in most diaper bags were too small anyhow. (LO is 22 months old). I did a diaper bag for about the first year, then switched around 15 months. It's fine for me now but my tote does NOT have extra pockets nor a top zipper so everything is out in the open. Sometimes it drives me crazy but then again, there isn't anything i'm reaching for that can't use a minute or two more to find. </p> <p>When LO was young (&lt;1 yr), i stuck religiously to a diaper bag. I needed to find everything quickly! I can't find any I love so I think I have settled on just using a MK tote bag I love or the weekender bag (I haven't decided which). I don't use the million pockets that my diaper bag offers now so I don't think I will miss those. The only thing I am cautious about is the material inside the purse since I forgot to check to see if it is wipeable. Has anyone else used a large bag instead of a diaper bag? If so, how did it work out? Thanks! </p>
