She walks! I do have a pouch carrier for her though when I go to dog functions (volunteer) that are all day and she gets tired and cranky I put her in. Also, sometimes it's just too cold for him to be walking around a lot. But if the weather isn't too cold, windy or rainy, he'll walk. In the summer, he walks everywhere. He used to bark a lot but we trained him not to. My current dogs are 9.5 and 22 lbs so a little big for a purse now, but they were carried as puppies. Our smaller one thinks she is a human baby (the bigger one acts like a baby, as in wimp) and always wants held in the cradle position.
