My eldest was 3 when her sister was born and it wasn't easy making her walk everywhere. Even at 5, too! They get tired on certain trips! i think this type of stroller is a great option for families with multiple kids and kids who don't like to be strapped down either. We also live in a big city and do not have a car, so it is essential. My DD is now 5 and she STILL begs to sit in the stroller, wheras my DS hates the stroller and we want to keep him strapped down since he's runs around like a maniac when loose, so I could really use one! It seems to be one of those things that works really well for some, and not so well for others. Worth a try!
