My friend and I took our kids (when both of them were 26mos) to Disney on ice. They both did great so we are taking them to Sesame Street live in two months (the kids will be 32 months then).

We just took DD who turned 2 last month and she LOVED it! She danced and clapped to the songs, swaying back and forth. There were times where she stood on her chair and also stood on the floor peeking between shoulders, but she did great. We were there with a few other 2 year olds who also did great.

We just took the twins at 19 months. We went to a 10:30 am show which is right around their naptime. They were both great and loved the first act (about an hour) but my son had a melt down after the intermission. He was done and ready for his nap. My daughter on the other hand sat completely still and was mesmerized the entire time. I would do it again in a heartbeat. We even got the tickets at a discount on Groupon.

I took LO when she was 16 months and she LOVED it!!! There is an intermission, so they don't have to sit still for too long, and many kids get up and dance anyway!

If you can score tickets in the first couple of rows (first 2 rows for sure, not sure about any other seats) you also get admission to the Sunny Days party which is a private meet and greet with the characters.

My LO thought they were real and was so happy she wouldn't stop hugging Elmo and talking to him/telling elmo everything she likes :silly:

LO loved the live music and they do a good job of having all the characters rotate around the stage so you get a good view of them all. If they come back to our town again, we will go for sure!

I would!!! We took DD to Disney on Ice a few weeks ago (at 19 months old). I was super worried that she wouldn't sit through it...she never sits still at home. But she was mesmerized. She actually wouldn't even let us leave our seats during intermission. And she doesn't even know the disney characters very well, other than Mickey Mouse. She LOVES so many of the sesame street characters that that would have been even more amazing for her I think. I did pack lots of snacks and little toys just in case, but we didn't need any of them. Oh, and I made sure to book aisle seats too...just in case!

I just found out that Sesame Street Live is coming to town on my daughter's 2nd birthday. She LOVES Elmo and I think it'd be fun to take her. I'm worried about her being able to sit for the whole show though.

If you've taken your kids to a show like this, how old were they and how did they do?
