I had a ktan and a beco Gemini with DD1. I liked the beco, but I don't think I had the right size in the ktan. It never felt secure

I bought a Solly for DD2, and we're loving it. She's only 9 lbs and 7 weeks, but it should last a few more months. I follow them on IG, so I bought it when they ran a 20% off promo.

I am totally kicking myself for not babywearing more when LO was little. She is 3.5 now and loves her toddler Tula. Which I bought for a trip. I use it so much now. BEST.THING.EVER. Have another little girl due in December and have 2 Standard Tulas waiting for her. One standard Canvas (Delicious) and one WC (Oscha Mehra Mead).

I had a Beco Butterfly and wanted so badly to love it. I just never got a good fit. Tried an ergo too and felt the same. I'm amazed with my toddler tula and 32lb toddler how comfy it is. I never felt that way when she was an infant weighing much less in the ergo or the Beco.

Have a Boba wrap (it's like a stretch Moby) and Bjorn One -- used both of these a lot with DS (who is now 2). Got them both as gifts -- I think the Boba is about $40 and the Bjorn One is about $125. Just bought a Kinderpack (bikes print) ($200), which I'm super excited about! I tried one on at a BWI meeting and LOVED it. Looking forward to using it with Baby #2 when he arrives later this year. They only sell new ones 2x a week on their website so I had to set my alarm to make sure I was able to log on the day the print I liked was for sale.

@Mrs. Grizzly Bear: We love Babywearing. We even sold off our double stroller and have no desire to use an infant seat for baby O. DH and I both wear often. Although if he figures out how much is in my stash I am gonna be in trouble. 🙈😳🙈😳

Plus I have a ring sling from the BWI chapter near me that I am borrowing.

1)What kind of carrier is it? Our current stash is as follows:
- 4 standard Tulas (click, aperture, first flight, and warrior)
- 1 toddler Tula (navigator)
-1 size 5 Natibaby woven wrap
- 1 size 6 Natibaby woven wrap
- 1 size 6 Didy Aurora woven wrap (on loan to my SIL)
- 1 size 6 Girasol glacé woven wrap
- 1 size 6 Vanomos Kide Kosmos woven wrap
- 1 size 7 Risaroo Padme
- 1 linen Ring sling
(Too be fair the size 5 Natibaby, didy Aurora, and warrior Tula are all for sale)
2)Where'd you get it? The Tulas were all bought either from Tula baby website, the swaps, or Abby's Lane. The wraps have all come either from the swap, local mommas, or direct from small shops. They were all over $150, with the exception of the ring sling.

3)How old is your LO/s?
N is nearly 4 and still goes up regularly.
E is 2.5 and gets worn nearly daily.
O is due to arrive in October.

I have a standard Tula, Sakura Bloom ring sling, and a babyhawk mei tai. I still use my Tula several times a week with my 32lb 19m old. The Ring sling was a lifesaver for months starting when I got it at 6 weeks old, but my shoulders didn't love it when he got so heavy so fast. I still have gifted one to three friends since it was so essential to me with a young infant.

Now I am thinking about getting a toddler Tula or maybe another toddler carrier.

Can't find a pic of my ring sling!

I have a SBP linen ring sling (this one I use all the time, even with my 25lb 12 month old). It was around $60 including shipping.

I have an Ergo 360 that I loved when she was younger and didn't mind being so constrained and was less wiggly. This was a gift but still reasonably priced.

And my most treasured carrier is a Didymos Indios wrap. It's crazy beautiful and I use it for longer walks (like a mile or more). It was expensive but not crazy expensive. It's a long wrap (I got a size 7 wrap because I was a size 16 when I bought it) and I'd love the same one in a short size.
https://www.birdiesroom.com/didymos-baby-carriers/587-didymos-indio-sole-occidente-org-cotton.html

The only thing I really want to add to my collection is maybe a WCMT or a RS, or maybe a short woven.

I have used a Moby and liked it a lot but it was warm (I was living in a cooler area so the warmth wasn't bad).

I wish I had gotten the wrap earlier because now my daughter is so old she won't stay still for me to practice a back carry! She just thinks it's so fun and that rolling off my back is the best game ever.

These are the carriers I have and worn. (Yeah, I have carriers that I purchased but have not used yet (twingo for tandeming) or will not use and will sell...Tula).

I have a Beco Gemini and Soliel that is a Tekhni wrap conversation. I would say it's in the $$ range. $150-180 ish.

I have a few Tekhni woven wraps. They are in the $$ range with them being between $130-$200.

I definitely don't own a woven wrap that is $400+ like Artipoppe or other hand wovens. So I don't think my wrap collection is too bad.

I did start off with an affordable woven Little frog which costs under $100. After going to a mommy convention and touching a Tekhni wrap, I've been dedicated and obsessed with Tekhni. So soft and most of their wrap needs only need a wash and dry to soften. No breaking in needed. I was a bit scared off hearing how some wraps need to be broken in or purchased used. (Used is great but I was a bit scared buying used for my first wrap because I didn't want to buy something and be scammed. Or not ask the right questions and get the wrong wrap.)

My babies are 11 months.

Oh, I do have a Tekhni RS, too. I was shown how to use a RS when the babies were 3 months and heard a RS was great for travel so I bought two Little frog RS $60 each. I ended up not liking it. It wasn't until most recently in the last month or so that I've been liking the RS again. Of course, it happened right before I was thinking of selling my RS stash.

Oh, I do definitely believe in joining your local BWI group and trying out carriers through the lending library. Just so you don't buy a carrier you hate and have to sell it. I don't hate my Tula but I just don't think it compares to the community and softness of the Tekhni woven wraps I own. My Tekhni love slipped in right before my Tula arrived in the mail. Sadly, Tula never had a chance.

Because I love nothing more than to drool over everyone's wraps and carriers, take a moment and share yours!

I admit to knowing pretty much nothing about carriers despite having been on HB for several years. I know Moby and I will never have a working relationship. I have a Beco Gemini I swore by for my second LO but I'm considering getting a woven wrap or a ring sling (in addition to my Gemini) for this next LO. So please - inspire and educate me!
