I got it after a horrendous car ride where she screamed for most of the way and I couldn't pull over on the highway...ugh. Makes car rides better and also showers are more peaceful, but it isn't perfect. We have the giraffe and it is light. That's a good trick about boiling them with the animal part on the handle! LO loves hers, so we have two and they get cleaned often. You can't wash the stuffed animal and the soothie separately? Seems strange to me. We got one as a gift and I took it out of the package. It says to just wash the soothie part in warm water but seems like the stuffed animal part woul get wet a bit and then you have to let it dry or you're giving baby basically a damp rag? </p>
