I recently threw a tea party sprinkle for a good friend, expecting her second. A "tea to celebrate the coming baby" is fine. I guess since a "tea honoring baby and mom" (or something similar) is a little ambiguous, I'd be okay with something like "No gifts, please" at the bottom. (because they imply "showering the guest of honor with gifts).</p> <p> How many people are you looking to include? If its only a small number a pedi party would be a great idea. I know we did this for a few wedding parties I was in. If you have a nail place you like and can handle the amount of people you are thinking. Call them and see if they would be will to have you and since you're bringing in a crowd ask for a discounted rate. </p> <p>For my wedding we chose a nail salon in a strip mall but it was one big open room with 6 pedi stations, We brought in treats and champagne mimosas.
