I would save it. I thought we had most of the bases covered, but when we brought LO home from the hospital, we discovered we needed a ton of other things, especially nursing supplies. We had to make an emergency BRU run when DS was 5 days old.

Save it- I can't remember how many trips I made to BRU in the first few months. You never know what they will like/not like and what you will need after you get into a routine at home.

I would save it for diapers. Or I would return something you just purchased and rebuy using the gift card.

Save it! Not for anything specific, per se, but I know that when DD was just born, I had DH running out to get things like nursing pads, or diapers, or Playtex drop-in liners. Don't worry, you will definitely find use for it soon!

That would buy a lot of diapers, totally not fun and exciting, I know!

I would just hold on to it and trust me you will need it in the future! Something you forgot, diapers, wipes, a big ticket item. What a nice gift!

I would totally wait.

You may use some of it for once she's here (for times like, needing to try a new type of bottle, or a special diaper cream). And then anything else, save for toys when shes a bit older and walking.

I would save it for after the baby is here. You will find that things you bought would not work for her. Or you need a, b, or c. I would save it for then.

oooh!! I would just save it because undoubtedly you will be running to BRU several times a week for random things (broke the nail clipper! need overnight diapers! mom needs nursing pads!) and it will be so nice to have that GC.

On the other hand, $200 is a lot... so I would take half of it and spend it on something now (maybe the convertible seat), then use the other half on essentials as needs come up.

I didn't vote, but my answer would be to wait. I wish that I has saved some our giftcards for when I needed stuff after LO was here.

I just found out that my husband's very generous coworkers gifted us a $200 gift card to Babies R Us. We literally spent all of last weekend stocking up on the essentials for baby who is due in 3 weeks and we got most of the big things from family and friends (swing, infant seat, stroller, etc) What would you do with the GC?
