My parents have a window set up just like this, but with the half round window bigger (like what you had originally), so to me, it does look off, but that's because what I'm used to.</p> <p>At this point, I would wait to see if you get used to it. Then they found rot around the window (the whole wall had rot) so we had to decide if to replace the half round window or cover it with siding. We considered putting shingles in that triangular area instead of replacing the window but went with the window because it wasn't much more expensive and we didn't want to lose the natural light.<br /> A few days later after we decided to replace the half round they let us know it would be smaller and be the size of the middle window below it. They said we would get used to it and that is more common (to have the half round be the same size as the middle window).
