My LO (13 months) has had a 5 pm bedtime for forever. She does get up at 5 am on weekdays because that's when I wake her up, but on weekends she will sleep to 6-7 uninterrupted. I say give it a try!

I voted catnap - We did a catnap at 5 pm for a couple months, and then put her to bed at 7.

Thanks ladies. I think he's teething so his sleep has kinda sucked recently.

We usually start our bedtime routine (bath, PJs, nurse) by 6:15 or so and he is asleep by 7. I don't really want to put him to bed much earlier since my husband would barely see him, but of course I'll do what's best for baby.

I'd start bumping the bedtime earlier and see if it helps. We went from bedtime at 730, to 7, to now usually starting the routine around 630/640. He's getting better rest overall and didn't change his wake up time.

it can't hurt to try it for one night and see what happens!

I would just try the early bed time. I know it's scary to mess with sleep, but it's only one night ya know?

Hi bees,
Just a question... My almost 6 month old has been sleeping pretty bad at night and for naps recently, and by the time 5pm rolls around he's overtired. So I've been holding him and letting him nap for 20-30 mins then bathing him, feeding, and bedtime. I'm tempted to just skip the catnap and put him straight to bed, but will he wake up at like 5am??

He normally sleeps 7pm-6am with 1 dream feed and 1-2 wakeups.

WWYD??
