I got both my last two promotions right after returning from my maternity leaves. I know for me it was bc my boss was worried I would want to stop working altogether, so it was her way of showing me I was valuable to the team and that she would pay me accordingly since I had addtl costs to cover. I think if it is a job you want and like it could be good. First meeting I had I was offered the opportunity to move into a supervisory role and do more program development and staff training.</p> <p>I was thinking on the drive in about how to manage this new work life balance and I am not sure if this will make it better or worse.</p> <p>Am I crazy to even consider this when I am just getting back into the swing of things? What would you do? </p>
