I know what you're saying about having access to the pills as needed- some people in my family are that way but personally it makes me nervous to have them around. I had a bunch from my c section and we took them to a local drug drop off. I'm not particularly paranoid about anyone I am just cautious about them in general. That is a lot of extra work so I would personally lock the remaining pills in a safe and call it a day. When M broke his arm we moved them from an upstairs bathroom to the kitchen for easier access. So I think it was naive of us to be so trusting. Personally, I'd put my money on someone at the party. I just feel like workers you hire would be less likely to do something so foolish that could cost them their jobs. But who really knows? We had leftovers from my birth, his broken arm and my hurt shoulder. I like to hang onto extras in case of an emergency- like when DH broke his arm we had something on hand right away. I'd say at least 40 pills of Oxy &amp; Vicodin are gone we had them in the kitchen cabinet. We can't nail down an exact time. But it's been about a month since either of us took them. We had a party with about 40 people a month ago, have house cleaners (the same people each time) and most recently a crew of three to work on our chimney. I vote just put the remaining pills in our safe and let it go but DH is very upset, I think trying to find out who did it will make business owners defensive. I trust my cleaning crew. Overall it just feels really shitty. Are you on team look into it or team let it go? </p>
