Oh man were we left in a bind. She waited until we got home on a Tuesday night too, so we had work the next day and everything. They should have an agreement about terminating the work contact that spells out terms for each party. Maybe she just said, 'ugh it's been such a long week, I wish I worked less hours' and that got turned into something much bigger. It could really make life suck for both of them if she's really dependent on her nanny and her nanny is really depending on her for a job and someone planted that seed in their heads that one was going to leave. Apparently she wants something with shorter hours, but I wouldn't want my friend to be left in a major bind. She and her husband do not have flexible schedules. </p>
