It's great that your sister can watch her. I'm a teacher, too, and received a warning from my principal in January about my attendance - all days I missed staying home with a sick LO. I know you feel guilty leaving your baby, but you did spend half of last week caring for her. I'd try to save the days you need to take off for times when you have no back-up care. We have been in the same position. Lo got croup and has been sick since Wednesday. I was out Thursday and Friday. She's been fever free since last night so I think she will be okay. I already missed 2 1/2 days last week but she still has a fever...tomorrow I have two options: stay home again or my sister will watch her.</p> <p>I obviously trust my sister to take care of her but I feel so guilty leaving her. DH is out of town so he can't take off work. Plus, he won't be able to help tonight (she's already been up once since being put down at 7...)</p> <p>I'm not concerned about leave/money but I am concerned about how it looks to take so many days off. I just went back less than two months ago (my principal understands, but still, I feel like it looks terrible!).</p> <p>Anyways...WWYD? </p>
