As a series though, it just seemed to get better and better. There's an overarching story throughout the 6 books and I really enjoyed it! Plus I'm a sucker for romance and these books do have that. Bloodlines is the following series - it follows a couple of the side characters from the Vampire Academy series and I actually enjoyed that one even more! And the Winner's Trilogy by Marie Rutkoski. These two are typical YA fantasy-romance. </p> <p>I absolutely loved the Kingdom of Little Wounds by Susann Cokal. It's hard to describe but it's almost like historical fiction except the kingdom isn't a real place. Most of the book is about power and how one person can have/gain/keep power over other people.
