@Chillybear: congrats! I had the same thing happen with my first. Call your OB/GYN to give them a heads up and they might go ahead and draw blood to test your levels, mine did.

@Chillybear: Did AF already arrive this month? Your temps do look a little low, but it looks like you're definitely Oing. I was told it was much more about the length of the LP versus the temps in the beginning. I had a CP my second month of TTC, and the doctor tested my HCG & thyroid about 2 weeks after just to be sure things were good-to-go to try again. It was nice to have that peace of mind before moving forward. Maybe your doctor will do the same. Good luck!

I had my annual 2 months before we started trying. I went right off the pill to start trying. I asked the doctor when I should call if we aren't pregnant. She said 6 months if I wasn't having regular cycles and if I am a year.

I would tell your doctor that you have been trying for 3 months, but don't be surprised if they don't do anything at this point. For the most part, they give you a year before they run tests, unless they know of other reason why to do earlier. Your charts show you are ovulating so I would guess you just need to give it more time and the doctor will say that.

Good luck!! Hopefully you get your BFP soon!

@Chillybear: Definitely ask your doc to check your thyroid levels, something he/she should be doing routinely, regardless of TTC! And you're right, lower temps can be a sign, but it could also just be your thermometer. Other than that, I don't think you need to ask for any other tests yet, but if your doc offers, why not! My doc said to go see her if it didn't work after 6 months (and I was 30 at the time).

Echoing 2peasinanpod, Typically 12 months of TTC if you're under 35 or 6 months of TTC if you're over 35 is when you want to take extra measures like blood tests or seeing an RE. But yes, ask your doctor anything you want! But until then, no worries. To me it seems like you're definitely still in the "normal" range! :) Good luck.

If it helps, my average temps while TTC were 96.8, and I also couldn't tell much by my CM. I had a tough time getting pregnant initially, but it was more b/c of me being on BC for 10 years and my cycles being incredibly messed up from that. it took 84 days to get my first cycle off of BC. Then my average cycle length after that was around 45 days.

Right now, just ask your doc if there's anything you should be doing differently. Most docs won't send you for any kind of testing until you've been TTC for at least 12 months unfortunately. Just keep at it...practice makes perfect ;o)

I had been trying for 9 months when I had my yearly exam last year. I mentioned it and my dr went ahead and referred my DH for a semen analysis and me for a blood test. I'm very glad she did bc we wound up having fertility issues. Three months isn't that long for TTC, but I would mention it since you have concerns about your medication. I'd ask if there was anything more you should be doing and how long should you wait before getting a blood test done.

@Bao: Thanks I just figured while i had the Dr captive at my appointment. I am concerned with the how low my temps are and that dont have much CM. I had read super low BBT can be indicative of hypothyroidism.

I probably wouldn't push for any blood tests at this point, only because you are only 3 months in. You could ask for any tips or things your doctor thinks you could do, but other than that it sounds like you are well on your way to baby :)

I'm just finishing cycle 3 off BCP. To me everything seems normal, but i have my yearly exam next monday. If this cycle isnt successful what questions should I be asking? should i push for any blood tests?

A bit of background I have psoriasis and came off my meds in order TTC, right now my skin looks good but I have no idea how long this will last so pregnancy sooner rather than later would be a plus. If I have a bad flare up I may need to put things on hold until the meds get everything back under control.

I've been charting so i plan to print and bring those, I also had a physical in June and everything was normal then except slightly elevated blood pressure, but i've had normal BP tests since.
