My son had bright yellow spit up as a newborn (it looked like Quaker cheese grits, but more yellow). He had it when we took him to his 3 day checkup the day after we were released from the hospital. He was having it all the time and choking and stuff so it was reflux (and our ped sent us to the ER). For us, I think the bright yellow color was probably from colostrum? Not sure.

My DD had lots of spit up at that age, she is EBF and it would sometimes be yellow- like undigested breast milk. She did have some reflux but I don't know if the two are related.

DD2 had some HUGE, bright yellow spitups when she was tiny. Turned out to be nothing, but it was very weird when it happened.

DD had yellowish/orange spitup and green poop at 2 months. It turned out she had a cold. Those and a goopy eye were her first symptoms - then came a runny nose.

My 2-month-old started spitting up yellow this morning. I’m waiting to hear back from the doctor. Anyone’s else’s LO have this? Was it reflux or something else?
