Still nothing. I have never been this late! This weekend I had cramps/pinching feeling bellow the belly button, back pain and was nauseous. It only lasted about an hour but the weird pain around my belly button is still there. It's more of a pressure now & my left boob is tender but im still getting bfn. I know that IF I'm pregnant it's from the bding on news years so that would only make it 9 days ago. I still have time for my bfp. I'm going more crazy cause yesterday I woke up at 330am and had to pee so I took a test it was negative. I didn't throw it away & when I came back 3 hours later there was a faint second line that was most likely an evap. But you see that and can't help but get your hopes up. Ugh.

@Sugar.Biscuit: when I asked about PCOS my old doc gave me the same vague answer with no tests!!! So irritating!! And my cycles are much longer than yours! Still like everyone said, I don't think it's something to be worried about at this point, less than 5 day variance here and there isn't terribly much, and you are still in a normal cycle length

@Sugar.Biscuit: aw, I know what you mean. I'm a bit of a control freak too which is why I really like charting because it's a pretty good indicator of what's going on.

Hope you get a BFP anyway!

@Sugar.Biscuit: I agree with @nerdbee that you may want to consider charting temps. OPKs are helpful, but it's possible to get positive OPKs and/or fertile CM and not O - it seems to happen often. But a sustained temp rise seems to be the best indicator of O of all the signs! I hope you get this all figured out soon!

@NerdBee: well shoot. We did BD a week later after my possible O. I was just explaining this to DH. I figure if I haven't gotten AF or a BFP by the end of the week ill call my dr's office. Just frustrating not knowing for sure. I'm a control freak and this is something that is out of my control so it's driving me bonkers!

@Sugar.Biscuit: it's totally possible that you did not ovulate when you thought you did. My last cycle was crazy. It was a 45 day cycle (longest ever), and I had EWCM on CD 18,29,20 but did not ovulate until CD35.

Your body may have been gearing up for O but stress may have caused it to be delayed.

@NerdBee: this last cycle I was going to start temping & using OPKs but we were going to skip O last month because of surgery so I never started doing any of that. I played around with the OPKs a few times but that's about it. As soon as AF shows up I plan on doing everything.

@Sugar.Biscuit: Do you also chart temps? Because I don't think charting CM alone is a reliable indicator of O. My body sometimes gears up for ovulation and I get EWCM but according to my temps, I don't ovulate until later. I think according to TCOYF, you need at least 2 of the 3 indicators for reliable O.

@Sugar.Biscuit: in that case, I think you should either get a new Dr or push yours to do some testing. There are some simple tests they can do to know if you have PCOS (or something else), and with 10 cycles down, she should be willing to start testing, if you are. I started fertility testing (blood work) around cycle 8. TTC is so frustrating - good luck!

I do chart CM. my O day was on time with my normal 28 day cycle. I know that 32 days now is not crazy long for delay its just abnormal for me & we BD on O day. The frustrating part is knowing we BD on O day, having a longer cycle and getting nothing but negotiable tests!

There was stress last month as I had surgery dec 7th and had major complication that landed me in the hospital for a week. things have calmed down sense. DH & I are at the cabin but that is something we do fairly often so I don't see that being a factor.

The reason I mentioned a new doctor is she has diagnosed me with "possible" PSOC. With no testing I think she is right, but she never confirmed & we are going on cycle 10 TTC with no positive results.

Definitely try charting (either temp or OPK, or CM/cervix) because it can be totally normal to vary the day you O. Stress or sickness, or anything really can delay it. This month I O'ed on day 21, and other months I've O'ed as early as day 16. I think the thing to worry more about is if you're O-ing on the same day and your LP is varying by several days.

I don't think a 4-day variation is anything to be worried about (which is probably why your dr isn't being very helpful). If you find that it's getting longer and longer every month or crazy irregular (like 28, then 35, then 42, then 28, then 46 etc, etc), then it might be time to try to find answers.

Do you have any other reason to think something is wrong?

Sorry, that must be annoying! I think to doctors that's not terribly irregular so they don't get concerned. Do you chart/temp? It's possible that if you O on say, day 17 and then had a 14 day LP it's possible to have a 31 day cycle. So maybe your O day is moving around or your LP used to be shorter and is getting longer? I think it may be hard for a doctor to tell you for sure without knowing exactly which day you're O'ing.

So sorry that its not consistent - that can be so frustrating! Mine has been doing the same thing lately (normally 28-29, then 34 last month and I'm on cd31 today). Have you travelled or been sick on the longer cycles? I hope you find some answers soon!

A few months ago I had a 32 day cycle mine have always been 28-29. Today I am on day 31 with a BFN & no sign of AF showing up soon. Could this be my cycle trying to lengthen post BC? I've been off sense April. Ugh. I really need to find a different doctor who is willing to find the answers rather then give me a hypothetical.
