I did a flat weave striped rug from dash and albert for my nursery with a sheepskin hide on top. The rug is nice and keeps my now 9 month old from skinning her knees on the hardwood floors. I also used a rug pad to make the rug a bit softer. But it still doesn't compare to a cut pile rug or carpet. However, because it's flat it makes it super easy for her to play on. Ideally navy blue and white striped, but I would be willing to compromise if it was awesome enough. The glider will be solid navy blue, the crib and bookcases will be white. We found navy blue changing pad covers. We registered for a few different crib sheets -- one with blue and white stripes, one with blue stars against white, and one a light blue background with baseballs (I like to be able to switch stuff out for variety lol). I could do a solid navy blue rug, but I kind of wanted something with a little more mix in it so there's not just a big dark rug on the dark wood floor (if that makes sense).</p> <p>Anyway, help is welcomed! </p>
