I was wondering the same thing, glad you asked this question! My first cycle, I got a very dark line the first time I every tested but this cycle, only very faint lines so far (although today's line is darker than yesterdays, so does that mean that O is pending?) Ugh, this OPK stuff is so confusing :(

I got a fade in and fade out pattern on Wandfos...I didn't like them that much because I felt like I was always trying to interpret if they were truly positive. So, I used CBE digitals every morning and then in afternoon and evening used a Wandfo. When I thought I had a positive on a Wandfo, I confirmed with CBE digital.

Good luck!

@Alivoo01: actually...dh is traveling for work a lot so he is gone monday thru thursday. I got a positive on weds morning and we had gotten busy on the previous sunday night and then thursday night. I was so certain that we had missed our window too! Our timing was all off. So i dont know which time it was, but something worked bc we got pregnant that cycle. So i would say try not to stress out too much about it! Getting a bfp with terrible timing can happen!

@JessLC: oh no!! That's the one thing I'm worried about since the hubby and I work opposite schedules. I don't want to miss out on the golden opportunity!! Maybe I'll call in sick that day so I can be home when the hubby is home to jump at the golden opportunity?? LOL

mine definitely did not show a gradual fade in. it was about the same every single day and then one morning, it was much darker than the control line. in my case, it was not hard to tell that it was a positive. i tested once in the morning and once after i got home from work. this was actually really important because the morning i got the positive, by 3pm in the afternoon, it was negative again.

@Rachel: Saving the pee to test with the digital - didn't think about that!

@Muffin: Since the Wondfo's come in so many in a pack, I'm going to test in the morning and afternoons just to make sure I cover my basis.

I think generally it's not considered "positive" unless the two lines are the same (or really close to the same). What I've been doing is using a Wondfo, then if it *looks* positive, but I'm not sure, I'll retest (save the pee!) with a digital one.

I used the target strips and that really annoyed me too. Trying to compare which line was darker was just so frustrating!! After our miscarriage when I tried again I switched to the clear blue digital one. So much easier... it's either a smiley face or it isn't!

I am using the Wondfos OPKs. When you teSt and you start to get a line, as you get closer to your surge wiLL the line get progressively darker and then be a positive?? Or can it be the morning you test, and there be no line, yet test in the afternoon and get an obvious positive? Somedays I would get a faint line, then the next nothing, then another faint line. It's my first cycle using them and I think it's made me more aggravated doing it then not!
