Not at all! I was worried about it at first, but since I've been practicing yoga regularly, I think it's okay. I still do all my normal twists and all. The only thing I'm leery of is hot yoga. I've read hot and bikram yoga are big no nos because of potential overheating.

The only difference is that I try to practice MORE during the TWW and tend to push myself harder. Yoga is one of the only things that keeps me in check and helps calm my mind during TTC.

I am trying reaaaaaally hard to established a good work out routine so that I can continue when I get pregnant! Def no need to worry during TTC. I think if anything, exercise is good for us during TTC to keep our bodies running and our mind off of the world of TTC for a little bit!

@TJBee: I know, i have a feeling i am overthinking it, and i usually tell people, "don't worry so much! keep exercising!" I also did my flow classes until 36 weeks (i hate prenatal classes), so i guess that answers my question!

You're over thinking it. If your body is used to the workout pre-TTC/TWW, you do not need to change anything. I did my same yoga class up until I was 36 weeks (with some modifications when I couldn't lay on my stomach or do backbends anymore). It was great!!

Prior to conceiving the first time around, i was working out 6-7x a week, running, spinning, yoga, etc. I continued to run throughout my first trimester and everything was fine and dandy.

Lately i only do power/vinyasa yoga, so i do a lot of jumping (to plank and back), inversions and all that good stuff. Should i be "taking it easy", especially during the TWW?

Do you change your practice at all? Am i just overthinking things?
