@tororojo: We only get the one color and one color pants. :) It makes it easy to decide what to wear on a work day!

@MaisyMay: We can all choose whatever color we want. I have several bright, fun colors (those offerings change yearly) and then the basics--black, navy, white, maroon, grey, etc... I really hate wearing polos. But I guess I should be thankful for variety!

@tororojo: Which color do you wear? We're currently in white with any khaki bottoms, but when we do our name swap in the next 2 months, that will change. I'm hoping for a color dark enough that my bra won't show if I skip a tank top under it.

@MaisyMay: Aww, how exciting that we get to wear the same lame shirts to work! I think the maternity polos are like $30 so if your work isn't buying them, you might not want to invest that much. Hopefully your current ones will keep working!

@shopaholic: When I ordered them, I had them order a size larger. They aren't quite tight yet. I was looking at the seams and if they do get too tight, I may have our alterations lady open the side seams up towards the bottom and put in a gusset to make it roomier. If they get too tight, they may let me switch to polos that are the same color, but then I'd have to buy them instead of the company.

@tororojo: We actually wear Land's End polos with the logos on the left top. I didn't realize they had maternity, but we'll be doing a name change soon and ordering new ones, so I'm not sure what the plan will be.

@MaisyMay: We have the option of work polos or t-shirts and so far I've just been wearing t-shirts one size up since they're way more comfy. But I know Land's End makes makes maternity polos (with or without logo) just in case your work ones don't come in preggie sizes!

@maisymay - ooh, that's tough with the work uniform. Will they eventually let you wear a top that's just the same color as everyone else's polo shirts? I feel like I've seen that before somewhere. If not, they better upsize your polo shirt soon! *and if you or someone you know is crafty, you can even alter the shirt a little bit to make it more bump flattering! :)

Dang that sucks :( People can be so insensitive sometimes. I have one cousin that every time she gets pregnant she doesn't get any freaking bigger, it is amazing. I guess she is plus size but you can't even tell she is pregnant at all. Everyone is different huh :)

@MaisyMay: Oh no! I'm so sorry. I would totally be one of the people saying that you don't look pregnant at all. It never occurred to me that the woman might take that to mean that she looks fat! I would mean the exact opposite, that she looks so good, you wouldn't think she were pregnant. Oh, the road to hell is paved with good intentions, eh?

I got the "you barely look pregnant!" comments too. I was at the heavier end of "average" BMI before getting pregnant but just carried it a certain way I guess. I gained all around too. Oh well...some people mean well and I didn't want to talk about how big I was getting either! In the third trimester I started really wearing a lot of close fitting tank tops (not trashy looking though) to show the roundness!

@Trailmix: I don't think I would mind being told that I don't look as far along, but being told I don't look pregnant all just makes me feel lousy, especially being less than a week away from the third trimester.

HAHA SO FUNNY. not? why the heck would I give birth in macy's? she was obviously trying to make a joke...but it was just awkward.

@Running Elley: Horrible, especially since nothing on you is wide! Wide is not a word that should ever be uttered around a preg, to describe anything!

My bump really IS wide though, so it doesn't poke out in the front as much. So it creates this optical illusion under clothes of not being that big because it's WIDE and so it's flatter. So I'm sure that's what they mean for you, and even though I KNOW I'm carrying wider more so than poke-out-in-the-front, I would still want to smack someone if they pointed it out to me!!!

@sorrycharlie: I know people mean well and they're just trying to be cutesy, but my tolerance level is waning! By the time I'm where you're at I'm going to be smacking people left and right-lol!

@birdofafeather:  Amen, sister!

I still get told at 30 weeks that I'm small. Or - this is annoying- I look like I"m carrying a boy since I'm mostly belly and when I respond that it's definitely a girl, people will say "You may be surprised! That would be something if she was a he!!!" OMG, shut up! What are you? An ultrasound machine?

When I tried my uniform shirt one, Hubs and I both laughed and said we'll see if this lasts until December. It's not snug, but it's definitely not roomy on me either.

People mean well by it but yeah: it doesn't register well with me either! I wasn't overweight before pregnancy but just the conservative way I dress in general always had people saying "you don't look pregnant!" up until I was at about where you are. It bugged the hell out of me because I was like just about 3rd trimester!

@MrsBrewer: The weight loss has been a good thing. And Little Girl and I are both healthy, which is doubly important. I meet with a doctor, nutritionist, and Diabetes educator every 3 weeks to make sure all looks good. And they are pleased with what they see.
