Last night she chewed down on one of her bath toys that's made of pretty hard plastic and screamed, then spent then next fifteen minutes sobbing and shoving her fists in her mouth as if she was desperately trying to stop the pain. Heartbreaking. </p> <p>I hope its not going to be this bad every time she cuts a tooth. I had to go back to rocking and nursing down for every nap, which I haven't done since she was tiny, and she fought me tooth and nail every time.</p> <p>ETA: Also, 5am wake ups all week! Fingers in the mouth, occasional sleep disruptions, picky eating, random tantrums, but it always passed fairly quickly. His molars and canines were the worst. I'm pretty sure E is working on her first tooth. She is eating poorly (only 2-3 oz at a time instead of SIX!), which also means she wakes up more at night to eat, but she's also drooling like crazy, chewing on anything and everything, and is whiny/fussy on and off throughout the day. I have never seen her in so much pain from teething. It was the first time we gave her ibuprofen for teething!!! Finally after a week the top 2 popped through. Then 2-3 days later the bottom 2 popped through.
