However, I love all the festive sights, and smells, and look forward to certain traditions, special to our family. I tell myself every year that I need to spend less on gifts and focus more on DIY/getting creative with small budgets. I just got our family stockings yesterday. I'm excited this year for it. Last year, I couldn't get excited for holidays much less anything since we were in a bad spot in our marriage. If I could give everyone money I would. </p> <p>DH loves christmas. He'll start listening to Christmas music and watching movies on November 1st! He loves thinking of gift ideas and loves wrapping the gifts. (He does not like the crazy shopping madness that happens.)</p> <p>Apart from all the gift buying, I do like Christmas. Love the holiday drinks that come out, visiting with family, SNOW(!!) but only back east, not in Seattle and some christmas music ('Nysnc's christmas album... yeah!!) </p>
