We had latch issues, tongue tie, vasospasms and all around lots if awfulness! Crabiosacral therapy worked wonders but I didn't go until DD was about 7 weeks old. I have a good supply but that's the only thing we have going for us. But I'm still happy he's gaining weight and healthy just from my breastmilk even though it feels like my nipples have been chewed on and I'm engorged and leaking all the time. The first time was a 4th degree tear and the 2nd time was a c-section, the first time was scary I had complications and knew no one who had been through it so I felt very alone. The c-section recovery was typical but challenging for me as I also had a 18 month old. Both of my newborns were "easy," no breastfeeding issues and even though I was sleep deprived I had very low expectations so any sleep was great!
