It feels so much faster the second time, and I realize they only continue to pull further away after that. </p> <p>That said, my second is having a ton of fun with the birthday because she has my first singing to her, "helping" her eat cake, and "helping" her blow out her candle. With my first I felt a sense of accomplishment that I'd made it through and he was healthy and developing well. I also felt like, Thank God we're done with that part! With this one I feel a little more nostalgic and a bit sad. Because it went so fast and he is our last. I wasn't really expecting that. </p>
