Our favorites were the BG 4.0s. We liked snaps during the day and used them the most. However, we also had a handful with aplix for middle of the night changes when we were too tired to think about snaps. So necessary. :silly:

Funky Fluff.
Can be worn 3 ways:
- AIO, AI2, and Pocket

Double leg gussets

One Size

They are amazing. Never had leak issues. They are my go to. Long trip? Night time? Big event? No problem. Throw on the Funky Fluff triple insert. :)

I like Aplix for my 1 year old wiggle worm. My 2 year old can unhook the Aplix. So I prefer snaps for her.

For the first 6-8 weeks, prefolds and thirsties covers. After that, BG freetimes with snaps. I'm yet to find a diaper with aplix where the aplix doesn't wear out eventually. If you're looking to use the diapers for more than one kiddo, go with snaps.

Swaddlebees Simplex OS AIO (same company as Blueberry) #1 and BumGenius Freetimes #2 or Elementals (old style) #3. Those are really the only ones I tried though. I was very happy with it. All were pricey, but they held up really well and I was able to recoup a large part of the cost when I sold them.

BumGenius snaps. And, I prefer the 4.0's vs. the All In Ones. I like the flexibility of adding or removing layers.

We also have Sunbaby Diapers. They are super cheap, but still work pretty well. They lack that extra layer of waterproofing, so if she pees a ton, it'll soak through.

Soft bums are probably my favorite overall, but we use a lot of Thirsties duo covers with Osocozy prefolds. Fairly cheap and we have never had a problem with them. Edited to say I much prefer snaps for long term. Velcro doesn't last nearly as long.

- trim fit
- snaps
- ruffles to help prevent leaks at leg gusset
- inserts agitate out of the pockets in the wash (no u stuffing dirty inserts)

I love SoftBums for covers, GroVia for prefolds, and Peachy Green for AIO/AI2. We are using covers and prefolds now because I jumped the gun and sold off our stash except for training underwear when Lorelei fooled us about a year ago and we thought she would be in underwear soon. Now I will never be cocky again. She is almost 3 and nowhere NEAR in underwear. There is a layer of dust on her potty so deep I think I would need sonar to find it. There's a mama who makes wonderful extenders I found on Etsy: https://www.etsy.com/listing/200655698/cloth-diaper-waist-extenders-fit She does wonderful work, is so, so incredibly nice, and I would recommend her to anyone. We got some for some of our Peachy Green and Blueberry covers that she was too big in the thighs for.

Can you tell what is on my mind? ;) Now I want to hear about your favorite CD brands and what is it that you like about them. Also, do you prefer snaps or aplix? I know all cloth diapers work different for other kiddos but I'm just curious if there is a trend of ones that are favorites.
