Definitely the Hue Ultra Leggings! They are definitely opaque. The waistband is elastic, but it's really wide, and the rise is high enough to go above the belly/muffin top instead of cutting through it. They look really good (well, as good as they can) on my post partum, c-section jelly belly. You can also find them on Amazon, but here is the link to Nordstrom:

@Sammyfab: it's kinda both? mostly just the stretchy material. :)

@Anagram: maybe they just opened in the states recently? :) i wore those leggings throughout most of my first pregnancy, but i imagine that maternity leggings are probably still more comfy! i just wore them under my bump :)

I love Vince Camuto's leggings (I bought mine at Nordstrom) - the material has a bit more weight than other leggings, and I feel like they look more polished than some other brands (which feel more like yoga pants to me than leggings). They're very opaque and have held up really well through lots of wear and washes over the past 1-2 years!

@tysonja: there's an Aritzia 10 mins from me so I can just go look if I really wanted to, but is the waistband a tight elastic? Or is it just stretchy material? (Hopefully that makes sense!)

In order to avoid muffin tops, I prefer leggings that have a foldover waist. The pairs of I have are lululemon, Gap and Joe Fresh (they're all over a year old though so I'm probably not much help!).

The ones from Lands End are great....they're a little expensive, but I think it's worth it.

TNA brand equator leggings.

http://aritzia.com/null-EQUATOR-LEGGING/18299006,default,pd.html

these are the absolute best leggings EVER. wide stretchy waistband so no muffin top or line, slightly thicker material so it's opaque and holds everything in (i don't mind wearing them as 'pants'), and can cut them to desired length!

i don't know if they only sell them in canada, but i guess you could order online? at 22$ they are a steal, especially since EVERYTHING else at that store/brand is super expensive!

i buy the all black ones, but they came out with newer ones with colourful waistbands :)

i'm 5'6 and usually between 140-150lbs and the medium fits perfect :)

p.s. i'm seriously so passionate about them i wouldn't mind buying them in store and shipping them out to you if you want! haha :) for reals!

I am on the hunt for some awesome leggings that are slimming and won't accentuate those awful bumps and dents I now have.

I used to like the basic crop leggings from LOFT, they fit great before baby but now they just make my love handles worse.

I'm willing to pay for some nice comfortable ones.

I tried on some at hot mama last week and loved them - they were sooo comfortable. (http://www.shopmama.com/products2.cfm/ID/18174) But at $48 I need to be positive I LOVE them. I will pay that much for a pair that are amazing because I pretty much live in leggings.

@Rainbow Sprinkles told me her favorites are the Zella Live In leggings from Nordy's. They are about the same price... we don't have a nordstrom within an hour from us though so I can't try them on.

What are you faves?
