The nice thing is you can consider Cambridge, Somerville, and Brookline as well, in addition to Boston, and they are all pretty walkable. My main complaints would be COL is very high and weather isn't great for half the year. Otherwise, it's a great city.</p> <p>I've lived in Philly and I'd say it's walkable as well, but more in pockets. If it's something we decide to pursue it would mean moving our family there so I would like to consider other factors while brainstorming- cost of living, weather, schools, essentially anything you would consider when uprooting to a new location. So I would love suggestions on walkable cities (or cities with walkable neighborhoods) you love! </p>
