@lilyofthewest: I got a Halogen v neck from Nordstrom recently that I love. It's so soft and comfortable. I was telling my DH that I need to get more because they'll be great for nursing but maybe I need to try some others from this thread too!

I love the Target v-neck tshirts. Cheap but super soft. A little on the thin side but I always wear two shirts for nursing anyways. I'm short but pretty heavy (like a 12/14 pants size) and I find the Target shirts flattering for a woman my size.

Any suggestions for v neck ones? 100% cotton or a cotton/linen blend.

I loved the Target boyfriend tees from several years ago when they were 100% cotton, but can't stand the more recent (mostly) polyester blend.

I have the same problem as @Foodnerd81: with Old Navy -- medium is too small, but large is too big

. I'd rather keep it under $25 each, but doesn't have to be as inexpensive as Target/Old Navy prices.

Lots of cotton or linen tees from j.crew or madewell. I also randomly find good ones with something "different" like a nice drape, detailing at the hem or neckline, etc at anthro, free people, or Nordstrom.

@YogiRunner: tried on the old navy t shirts- quality feels nice enough (for $8) but I had sized up and its huge. I usually wear a medium or large, have a regular medium in it already and it's a little snigger fit than I want. Ordered the large tall and it's really big. I may keep one to wear with leggings.

I am kind of obsessed with the basic vneck shirts target has. They're so comfortable and they always fit me perfectly. They're super cheap obviously, so when they start to fade and get pilly, it's no big deal to get more.

@YogiRunner: this one is also pretty awesome. And on mega sale.
This brand Babaton at Aritzia has some great tank tops too. Nice loose drapey fit and long enough that they could probably go with leggings.

@YogiRunner: The lularoe ones are $35 I think? The hard part is finding simple solid colors. They go quickly. The prints are really crazy!

So now that I know your price range, check out shopbop! Clothing > tops > filter to short sleeve t-shirts and brands Madewell, Monrow, Splendid.
Some might be a touch over $50. Like $55-60 but trust me they are worth every penny.
Madewell has them in the lower end of the price range and even below.

But if you really are looking for a good tee to cover your bottom in tights, I don't think there's anything better than the lularoe perfect t-shirt (that I've found).

@YogiRunner: I did the same thing- someone else had started a similar thread a few weeks before me. It's a hard thing to search. And you have gotten a few different responses than me. I figured I would start with the Old Navy ones since they were less than $8 each with a sale and i am still getting spit up or snot on me on a regular basis. Once that settles down i may "splurge" on the AE.

@Foodnerd81: Shoot, I totally missed that! I blame newborn brain. I never thought to try AE but I'll check them out next time I'm at the mall. I'm still a little skeptical of Old Navy's quality but am interested to hear how you like them.

@SweetiePie: super cute! I'd spend $30-50 for good quality. The Gap has tees for $25-30 but they seem so shapeless and blah. My friend sells LR so i might try that route too. Thanks!

And sorry again for repeating a thread topic, that will teach me to not start threads during 3am feedings :silly:

@T.H.O.U.: I think (not certain) the classic is a bit more fitted? I've never tried classic.
Here is the perfect on me. It's not the best pic because it's right out of the bag so kinda wrinkly. But I swear it's really flattering. A nice loose drape without looking frumpy.

I finally got lularoe one because my mom fell in love and had a party. The Perfect Tee is kind of amazing. It's a great material, it's not too baggy, not too tight, and it's a little longer in the back to cover your butt in leggings. I have one but I'm planning on getting more. It's very flattering and I was pleasantly surprised.

What is your budget? I can make some more recommendations but I have quite a few and they range from like $20-$100.

I just asked this last week! I ordered the Old Navy ones people recommended but haven't tried them on yet, and I haven't ordered the American Eagle ones yet but they look really promising. http://boards.hellobee.com/topic/favorite-t-shirts-for-you#post-2576754

I'm trying to simplify my wardrobe at 5 weeks post partum: looking for clothes that are comfortable and functional yet still cute and stylish. Leggings, maxi dresses and skirts, and comfortable jeans and pants.

None of my current tee shirts are flattering anymore or are easy to nurse in, so I'm on the hunt for solid tees that are super soft and comfortable, durable, and flattering for a post partum bod. I don't want to look frumpy!

Where did you get your most favorite, go-to tee?
