This has caused me to donate a lot of toys over this past year, I think when there is only so much you can do with a toy, it gets boring! </p> <p>Some of their favorite open ended toys are:<br /> -Their doll houses: We have a couple different houses, a Little People House/Barn/Castle/Zoo (all gifted!), a Peppa Pig House and a Calico Critter house we bought them last year with a gift card that they really love! All of these have different accessories with them, that lead to hours of entertainment.<br /> -Art supplies: They can do so much with the supplies we have, their ideas are endless. LO2 doesn't get into it as much as LO1 does, but hopefully soon she will, once she stops trying to eat everything!<br /> -Play kitchen/accessories: They love to make food and pretend we are in a restaurant, or pretend I am sick and they need to feed me soup, or they use it to feed their animals and babies.<br /> -Dolls: We have several dolls and stuffed animals that they like to dress, take for walks, pretend they are sick (not sure why being "sick" is a thing here), and then they use their doctor kit as well. They love switching up what they do with their dolls, it's a lot of fun since this was my favorite thing as a kid! </p> <p>We do have Legos but they don't get as much attention right now, I'm hoping eventually they get into them more because I was also a Lego lover growing up. </p> <p>What are some of your LO's favorite open ended toys? </p>
