We skip, and pray for a car nap! She's so hit and miss already with naps that it's really not a big deal.

When we're with the in-laws we'll try to do naps as usual since they have a room that we have everything set up like at home (black out curtains, white noise, RnP for Blake and swing for Alice). When we're with my family we will stay at my sister's and drive the hour to my aunt's each day. So we will rely on car naps and try for one nap while we're at my aunt's house. We'll see how it actually works out!

We'll keep her on her schedule as much as we can but she may do one nap per day instead of two... But we are transitioning to that anyway.

We are going to try to keep her schedule as much as possible, but it should be that bad at all the places we are going.

Last Christmas C took a nap in a pack and play in the bathroom at the house where we were celebrating! It bought us a few more hours to stay so woohoo. ;)

We'll likely have to skip naps on Thanksgiving and Christmas too. Normally I'd be ok with that so long as we then have an early bedtime but that seems unlikely so I'm just crossing my fingers it doesn't backfire too much. Other than those 2 days, we should be able to keep to our normal schedule for the most part.

We will be spending a week in Toronto at the in-laws and 5 days in Georgia with my family..so we're going to *try* to maintain LOs schedule as much as possible. We will see how that goes...

How will you handle your LO's naps and overall daily routine during the holidays?

My LO's do pretty well when their routine is thrown off some days, but I imagine with it happening often from Thanksgiving through New Years it could become a problem. We have a lot of family gatherings coming up and working them around nap time isn't possible unless we want to stay for 30 minutes and miss everything. Meals will also be thrown off since holiday meals tend to be at odd times with our families. Fingers crossed the girls will be entertained enough to not have massive meltdowns due to a whacky schedule.
