I make them with banana yogurt OJ milk some kind of frozen veg and a handful of berries. I make them thinner (thin with more milk or water) so he can suck out of his straw cup. We keep them in the fridge and just grab and go.

Wanted to bump this old thread. I'm not a big smoothie person, but I'd like to start making them for my 15mo son. Since I don't really eat/drink them, I don't have any go-to recipes. We're home for most snacks, but sometimes we need to be on the go. So I got these reusable pouches and I'd love to make some smoothies, fill the pouches, and freeze them so we can grab when needed for later in the day, or I can put them in the fridge the night before. Has anyone else done this?

LO has a smoothie almost every morning. It is always banana, Greek yogurtand then usually a frozen fruit like mango, pineapple, strawberries. You can mix any of these to add more depth to the flavor. Also frozen peaches. I recently got a cherry/ mango blend from whole foods that my husband taste tested and said it was really good. LO liked it too.

I usually make either one of these smoothies for my LO. She likes both :)

1) Frozen strawberries, banana, almond milk, ice and a little bit of agave syrup (I've also made it with raspberries and blueberries)

2) Spinach, pineapple, banana, orange and ice.

I am looking to make LO some smoothies since that is the only way she will eat fruit right now (besides bananas). She has only ever had strawberry banana and I want to try a few other kinds. I'm new to the whole smoothie making thing though, so the easier the better ;)
