I would usually bake something (cheese muffins, brownies etc) then chuck ham, cheese, pickles, tomatoes etc and bread into a platter and say go! The recipe I use is smitten kitchen's crust (or TJ's frozen pre-made if I don't have time), sautéed onions, sautéed mushrooms, whatever cheese I have, 4 eggs, a cup of milk with salt/pepper/ dijion mustard. Bake at 350 for 40-50 minutes. It can be a wrap, it can be a sandwich, it can be on a croissant. Whatever it is, it always seems fancier and a hit with everyone I make it for.
