I find that Zara runs small in general. All of the cotton pants I have bought for DS have shrunk, so I buy 2 sizes up. I recently bought him a cotton polo, he's 6 years old but I bought size 10 years old. It is only slightly big on him at the shoulders. The 8 would have been too slim cut.

My son pretty much only wears Zara so I can't compare to gap but he's 2 yrs old, 30lbs, 36 in and we just bought his fall clothes in size 2T. I find that their sizing is inconsistent within their own company. Some 2Ts fit him perfectly and some are too big. He's still got some 18-24mo pants that are big on him while others, there's no way we could get them on.

I find Zara tops to be true to size but because most of their bottoms are very slim fit they run smaller than Gap.

I really like Zara style as well but gave up on them because practically every item is line dry only. And you really do have to do it because of the slim cut. I just don't have the patience or time to separate things out.

My 4 year old son is moving into size 5t in Gap/ Gymboree and I guess in some brands that is size 4/5? I do most shopping online so can you help me out with sizing?

I like some Zara kids stuff for boys. In comparison to Gap, how do they run? Big/ small? He is 40 inand 40 lbs. Lean but muscular.
