It is a safer medication with less side effects. It's supposedly safe, and I figured it is a tiny percent of the already small quantity of milk she was consuming. I took Unisom + B6 regularly and I guess that is fine too. I'm not a doctor but if it doesn't hurt a developing fetus I imagine it's safe enough for an older child to get a bit through breast milk. I'm thinking I want to ask my doctor for Zofran. I'm still nursing my 2-yr-old. Has anyone else taken it while breastfeeding? </p>
