I was prescribed 25mg of Seroquel to help me sleep. I cut it in half because it's too much for me but I like how it calms me enough to sleep but I can still function (DS is 6 weeks old so I need to get up at night). Plus it helps my anxiety the next day as well even though I'm on an SSRI.

I take zoloft in the morning because it seems to amp me up. To combat the insomnia, my doctor and DD's ped. okayed sonata as a sleep aid until the upped dosage kicked in. It has a short half life so I can take it before bed and be ready to feed her a few hours later.

How long have you been at the higher dose? You can experience side effects with an increased dose, and insomnia/trouble sleeping is a common one with Zoloft. Typically those side effects go away within two weeks, after you adjust to the increase.
You can talk to your doctor about taking the med in the morning (if you currently take it at night), or maybe trying a temporary sleep aid like melatonin.

Bumping for you!

I've taken Zoloft on and off for like a decade and the only problems I've had with sleeping was higher doses made me grind my teeth, which apparently is a common side effect. Good luck!

Hi friends-
Been on Zoloft for years. Started when I was pregnant with my first. Gave birth to my second a few months ago and have had horrible ppd/anxiety. Currently, on 100mg of Zoloft, dr just switched me to 150mg. I'm having trouble sleeping and eating. Has anyone had any positive experiences upping the dose?? Any help would be great.
