My son enjoys learning about animals and nature, and it gives us a good opportunity to read together. I've never heard of Zootles though. If it's not too expensive, maybe consider subscribing to both? Has anyone subscribed to Zootles or Ranger Rick Jr? I like the idea with Zootles of focusing on a single animal per issue (seems like she might reread those more) but they only offer 6 issues/year compared to Rick Jr's 10 issues.
