I actually like chevron. But then I'm not on Pinterest or decorating sites that much, and the only thing I've seen with it in real life is some baby bedding and a rug at PBK.

I have a chevron rug under our dining room table that DH picked. I gave him a bunch of geometric patterns to choose from, and he liked the chevron the best.
I see it a lot online, but not in real life. We get comments on the rug about how "unique" it is.
I get annoyed at the fashionable names. I kind of miss when it was just called "zig zag". (Or "ombre" was called a gradation.)

Yeah, it's okay depending on what it is. I have a chevron pattern on two chairs in my kitchen, love them. I had put the same fabric into a curtain in the kitchen and that lasted a week. For my nursery, I only have one chevron crib sheet in grey and white. I think the bright colors over due it.

@TemperanceBrennan: Too true re *fashionable* names . . . guess it makes it sound more modern as opposed to a retro revival!
