if you're LO has tubes in their ears, how many ear infections did they have before getting them?

DS has had 4(confirmed) ear infections, he's almost 14 months old. he had his first 3 at 5 months, 7 months and 8 months. the last one was at 13 months. originally after the 8 month one the doctor said that they were going to send him to an ENT if he got another one, but didn't after the last one because it came 5 months after the one prior. we are suspecting that he's either got another ear infection, or the last one didn't clear up.......

calling the doctor today to get him in. if it is an ear infection, i'm gonna push for him to see an ENT.
