LO turned 18 months Friday and I think some sort of switch flipped. He's always been an independent little guy and has never been a snuggler. Since Saturday he's wanted to be held wayyy more than usual and gets REALLY upset when we put him down if it's not his idea. I wouldn't mind the extra snuggles but...

This has also seemed to come with an aversion to his highchair (Fisher Price booster with tray) and baths. He SCREAMS every time we put him in his chair to eat. He will only eat "on the go" or sitting on my lap. And last night it took at least 15 minutes of hanging out in the bathroom encouraging him to get in the tub before he didn't scream bloody murder when his feet touched the water.

Do you think this is just a phase? Will it leave as quickly as it came, or should I prepare for a new normal? I'm not really sure how to handle the highchair situation especially. I want to give him what he needs, but I don't want to start any bad habits... Suggestions? Commiseration? TIA.
