I thought I would pass this on in case anyone has to come up with fun shower activities in the future.

This past weekend was my baby shower. My friends stuck with my one request of no gross baby games. Instead, they came up with an activity for everyone to participate in.

They purchased a bunch of white onesies, white burp cloths and different colored bibs. They brought a whole bunch of different fabrics and templates of characters like a dolphin, crab, fish, heart, etc. Each person traced their template of choice onto the fabric and then cut it out. Then they went to the ironing board and, using iron-on transfer paper, ironed their template onto a onesie, burp cloth or bib. It was great fun and gave everyone time to chat and get to know one another while doing the activity.

My sister-in-law took everything home with her to sew around the finished product.

Some of the many items that were created: http://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g151/jillocb/BGH/IMG_1914.jpg
