Ok, I am throwing my little sis a baby shower. I have never done one before but I know she doesn't want any games. ( I hope she doesn't consider decorating onesies a game) But what I need help with is a color scheme/theme. Do I need to have a theme? Or should I just pick colors? If you want to you can vote and help me pick some colors!!!

I like to do whatever theme/colors they're doing for the nursery. That way you can use some things to decorate that they can always reuse for the nursery.

I love picking "colors" for a shower instead of a "theme". I think themes get expensive and too cutsey for my taste. I think any of those color palates would be great!

I know that yellow and green are supposed to be neutral, but to me, yellow seems more girly, so I'd go with green for your colors instead! Plus I think green and teal would look soooooooo good together!

I like green and teal, they are pretty colors together and not as popular as yellow and gray right now.
If you do want a theme I just through a Dr. Seuss theme for an unknown gender and it went over great, everyone loved it!

Like StrawberryBee and Artbee said, I would ask your sis if she has a color/theme for the nursery yet and use that. If not, I like aqua and yellow!

@artbee: All she has for the nursery is a dark tealish color wall. Not sure where she is going with it? Maybe I am planning the whole thing too early lol.

Maybe teal with yellow and a few touches of dark blue or dark green? It's nice of you to do this for her!

I loove planning showers. I do think any of the colors would work beautifully, but I voted gray/yellow.
